Kusel is a stainless-steel fabrication shop that currently has multiple openings for the following THREE production roles (Scroll to read all open position responsibilities):

PRODUCTION WORKER, METAL FINISHER duties, and responsibilities:

  • With the use of hand tools and various abrasives, grind, and polish stainless-steel products to meet a required finishing specification
  • Review blueprints and finish according to specifications
  • Take questions to supervisor for clarification
  • Ensure each job is tracked appropriately
  • Maintain communication and document problems and takes steps to resolve
  • Use measuring, hand, and power tools as necessary for the assembly of products
  • In addition to basic math skills, must be comfortable computing fractions and decimals
  • Work in a safe manner wearing all required personal protective equipment
  • As needed, assist in other production roles throughout the shop including bead blasting, assembly, shipping, welding, layout, etc.
  • Commitment to process, quality improvement and teamwork

PRODUCTION WORKER, PRESS BRAKE/LAYOUT duties, and responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake
  • Review blueprints and finish projects according to specifications
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (tape measure, calibers, protractors) to ensure that parts are made to specifications
  • Fabricate parts and components using machines such as roll formers, shears, band saws, and drill presses
  • Take questions to supervisor for clarification
  • Ensure each job is tracked appropriately
  • Maintain communication and documents problems and takes steps to resolve
  • Use measuring, hand, and power tools as necessary for the assembly of products
  • In addition to basic math skills, must be comfortable computing fractions and decimals
  • Work in a safe manner wearing all required personal protective equipment
  • As needed, assist in other production roles throughout the shop including bead blasting, assembly, shipping, welding, metal finishing, etc.
  • Commitment to process, quality improvement and teamwork

PRODUCTION WELDER duties, and responsibilities:

  • Understands the process of welding and complete welds using TIG and MIG methods (Primarily TIG)
  • Sets up own machines and understands how to change welding tips and completes necessary machine maintenance
  • Read blueprints and schematics to ensure welds and parts are located properly
  • Identify parts shown in blueprints and ensure accuracy of projects
  • Welds together stainless-steel components of products and works on weldments for various projects
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (tape measure, calibers, protractors) to ensure that parts are made to specifications
  • Take questions to supervisor for clarification
  • Ensure each job is tracked appropriately
  • Maintain communication and documents problems and takes steps to resolve
  • Use measuring, hand, and power tools as necessary for the assembly of products
  • In addition to basic math skills, must be comfortable computing fractions and decimals
  • Work in a safe manner wearing all required personal protective equipment
  • As needed, assist in other production roles throughout the shop including bead blasting, assembly, shipping, layout, metal finishing, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear
  • Frequently required to stoop, bend, or reach above shoulders
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

SCHEDULE:

  • 1st Shift
  • 8-hour shift – Overtime as needed

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
