MEET KUSEL'S DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & SALES DAVE COUGHLIN
Dave Coughlin lives, breaths and sleeps marketing. I suppose that is what happens when you spend 25 years refining your craft. Dave has ignited a fire on the marketing side for Kusel in his three years with the company. Spearheading several projects, he calls “building blocks” to develop the Kusel brand and put its products front and center with customers both on the drain and dairy sides of the business. His largest undertaking was rebranding the 171-year-old company and launching a new website to take Kusel in the future. Coughlin credits the entire Kusel organization for supporting his vision to use Kusel’s history and products to pave future pathways of opportunity for the company.
Coughlin’s success begins at home with his family. Dave and his wife Jodie have been married for 24 years and have three active teenagers that keep them hopping with the myriad of sporting events and performances to attend. Down time consists of golfing with friends, getting lost in a good comedy and cooking with the family. Coughlin continues to sharpen his skills by working on advisory boards and participating in speaking opportunities on topics related to marketing and sales. He also is involved with not for profit boards to assist with their communications and marketing needs.
Dave’s passion for marketing and what he calls “relationship selling” runs deep. But his responsibility certainly doesn’t end with his roll at Kusel. He’s a resource that can be used to bounce a marketing, sales, or promotional idea off. Many of Kusel’s partners have engaged Dave on wide variety of concepts and in the true spirit of collaborative success, he gives as much attention to these opportunities as he does to his responsibilities at Kusel. He truly gives 110% into everything he does both personally and professionally and the team at Kusel appreciates having him driving future success for the organization.
