Industry Vet Szollar Calls It A Career

Jim Szollar, Senior Vice President of Kusel Equipment Co., has retired after a more than 25-year tenure. Szollar was instrumental in Kusel’s Cheese Making Equipment sales, as well as the company’s development of its stainless-steel drainage product line. Additionally, Szollar was in charge of the organization’s marketing and advertising and worked tirelessly to build the company’s brand during his career.

“Jim has been critical to the long-term success of the organization.” said Kusel President and CEO Dave Smith, “He has been a cornerstone of the company’s development, and he has left his mark all across Kusel Equipment Co.”

A well-known personality in the dairy industry, Szollar was a fixture at events and tradeshows across North America. “Jim’s in-depth knowledge of the dairy industry made him a resource for many organizations,” Smith added. “Not only did he have an ability to understand the needs of the customer, he knew what it would take for them to achieve the goals they were targeting.”

“Jim is huge part of the Kusel family,” said Smith. “All of us in the organization are going to miss him and what he meant to the company.”
