Kusel's BLANCHER is available in a number of sizes for your application. The cylinder is supported on the inlet end by two eight inch travelers and on the discharge end by a large shaft through a single bearing from which it is driven. The cylinder is constructed of perforated stainless steel with two full-length removable panels, 180 degrees apart allowing easy access to the inside for cleaning. Inlet and discharge chutes are unobstructed for easy product flow. Perforated lifters discharge the product above the water level.
The tank is constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel.
The top cover is a one-piece unit, which can be raised for cleaning by four screw actuators, one on each corner, which are simultaneously raised.

Kusel's Water Vapor Cooker is a continuous cooking system for sliced, diced or whole vegetables and a variety of other products. The product is not submerged in water either during or after the cooking process. Instead it is cooked or blanched by hot water vapors. The Kusel Water Vapor Cooker cooks your product faster and more evenly. Flavor, color and nutrients are NOT leached out during the cooking process. The product retains its shape and weight better than with other conventional methods. Product color and appearance is maintained during the cooking process.
The Water Vapor Cooker is constructed of stainless steel with all welds ground and polished for easy cleaning. Heating is accomplished by steam coils or gas fired immersion tubes.
